Family Promise is moving along quite nicely in its seventh month of this journey.
Much progress in all areas has been achieved and the latest accomplishment is the Family Promise of Lancaster County Web site.
Most people in America are able to connect to the Web and I’m sure the same is true for Lancaster County citizens.
Family Promise wants to make it easy for people to learn about and understand what Family Promise is and what it will mean for Lancaster County.
The Family Promise Web site, www.familypromiselancaster.org is loaded with information about the national nonprofit organization, its origin, national homeless statistics and Lancaster County’s Family Promise efforts. Also on the Web site are details of how you or your group or organization can help Family Promise of Lancaster County reach out to its families in need of permanent housing.
The list has many opportunities to help. You can volunteer and bring compassion, or maybe you have a specific item that you can donate or maybe give a monetary donation.
Family Promise of Lancaster County is a nonprofit organization that will help families without homes become homeowners again.
In our effort to reach out to Lancaster County we would like to present our information to you.
A list of clubs, groups and associations was provided by the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce. Letters have been sent to many who were on the list.
If your club, group or association has not received a letter and you would like to have a brief presentation for your members, please contact me and a letter will be sent immediately to you.
